Pulmonary Clot Caused by Yaz Birth Control Medication
Searcy Denney has filed another lawsuit today in state court in Palm Beach County, Florida against the manufacturers of Yaz.
This action was filed on behalf of a young woman in the media profession who suffered a pulmonary emboli and infarct after taking Bayer’s popular birth control drugs for a few months.
Currently, there are thousands of lawsuits pending in consolidated state court proceedings in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and California as well as in the federal courts in East St. Louis, Illinois involving claims against Bayer Corporation, Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Bayer Healthcare LLC, Berlex Laboratories, Bayer Schering Pharma AG, Bayer AG, and Schering AG involving their manufacture and sale of Yaz, Yasmin, Ocella and similar formulations that include the progestin drospirenone.
