Chris Searcy was elected to the IATL Foundation’s Board of Trustees

Chris Searcy was recently elected to the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Mr. Searcy will serve a three-year term beginning in 2014. The purpose of the Foundation is to promote reform in law, facilitate the administration of justice, and cultivate the science of jurisprudence. Mr. Searcy has also received an invitation from U. S. Senators Bill Nelson and Marco Rubio to serve on the Judicial Nominating Commission. Mr. Searcy will serve on JNC’s Southern District Conference through the remainder of the 113th Congressional Term. The JNC recommends the most qualified candidates to serve as U. S. District Court Judges, U. S. Attorneys, and U. S. Marshalls. Prospective nominees are then forwarded to the President for consideration.
