VIVIAN AYAN-TEJEDA joined Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley in 2001 and has assisted multiple attorneys in investigation, strategy development, and trial preparation related to medical malpractice, product liability, personal injury, and motor vehicle accident claims. Currently, she is the case coordinator for the firm.
Born in Oriente, Cuba, Mrs. Ayan-Tejeda is fluent in Spanish. She immigrated to Miami in 1962 and attended the University of Miami, receiving her Bachelor’s degree in business administration in accounting in 1977. She began her professional career with Allstate Insurance Company, where she held numerous positions in management and assisted in oversight of legal services. Her experience in insurance and law spans more than 37 years.
Mrs. Ayan-Tejeda holds a 620 (Adjuster) license, and in 2000 earned a Senior Claim Law Associate degree from the American Education Institute in West Palm Beach. She is a paralegal member of the Florida Justice Association, the American Association of Justice, and the Palm Beach County Justice Association, and a registered member of the Florida Bar.
Mrs. Ayan-Tejeda lives in Juno Beach with her husband Jesus, and enjoys photography, snow skiing, and hiking.
