Attorney Brenda Fulmer, contributing writer to "Anatomy of a Personal Injury Lawsuit, 4th Edition"

The law firm of Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley, Trial Guides LLC, and the American Association for Justice (AAJ) are proud to announce the release of a new book on personal injury litigation.

The fourth edition of Anatomy of a Personal Injury Lawsuit, a two-volume set, is a comprehensive and up-to-date resource for practicing plaintiffs’ attorneys and their staffs. Written by more than 60 contributing experts on trial law and personal injury medicine, this new edition is full of detailed advice, practice tips, arguments, charts, illustrations, and examples that you won’t find collected together anywhere else. This new edition provides a step-by-step guide through the process of a personal injury claim, from the initial client interview to closing statements.

Brenda Fulmer, a shareholder with Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley in West Palm Beach, Florida, wrote a chapter in the book entitled “Mass Torts: The Bird’s-Eye View.” Ms. Fulmer’s chapter includes explanations of the multi-district litigation process, which is commonly used to coordinate mass tort cases including pharmaceutical and medical device claims, airline crashes, environmental disasters, and other cases where a large number of plaintiffs are injured by a single product or event. Her contribution to the book also includes practical advice to lawyers who are contemplating entering the mass tort field, based upon Ms. Fulmer’s more than 20 years of experience litigating thousands of individual drug and medical device product liability claims on behalf of plaintiffs.
