Apalachicola Riverkeeper

Arthur R. Marshall Foundation

Unites people with nature through grassroots Everglades restoration projects and science-based education. Best Buddies Florida

Best Buddies Intebestbrnational is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The IDD community that Best Buddies serves includes, but is not limited to, people with Down syndrome, autism, Fragile X, Williams syndrome, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury and other undiagnosed disabilities. Best Buddies is the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with IDD. Coastal Boxer Rescue of Florida, Inc

Community Greening

In August 2016, Mark Cassini and Matt Shipley co-founded Community Greening. It is a member of The National Arbor Day Foundation’s Alliance for Community Trees, a national network of community-based organizations dedicated to planting and caring for trees. On a regional level, Community Greening is a recognized member of the State of Florida’s Urban Forestry Council.

The main goal of Community Greening is to mobilize local groups to plant and care for trees, and by investing their time and energy have a direct impact on improving the neighborhood landscape. It is a collective effort to connect and engage individuals, neighborhoods, youth, and businesses who care about improving our environment for people and nature. Florida Wild Mammal Association

Rescues rehabilitates and releases sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife in five Florida counties: Wakulla, Franklin, Leon, Taylor, and Jefferson. Relying entirely on donations, grants, and volunteer services has provided food and medical care to more than 7,000 mammals, birds, and reptiles; also conducts educational demonstrations in area schools.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving

We were formed in 2011 when a group of friends organized a community bike ride during the winter holiday season to raise funds so at-risk kids could receive their very first bike. Project Lifesaver

Works with police, sheriff, fire, and public safety departments in 45 states to aid in timely response when adults and children wander off due to conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease and autism. More than 1,200 local agencies use radio technology and specially-trained volunteers to assist in search and rescue.

A non-profit venue for racing fans and volunteers to respond rapidly to hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, etc. and help disaster victims. Safe Kids Worldwide

One of 49 chapters working with 600 coalitions nationwide to prevent unintentional childhood injuries, the leading cause of death and disability for children ages 1 to 14.
