BRIAN P. SULLIVAN holds J.D. degrees from both Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center (cum laude, 2008) and Massachusetts School of Law (1993). Before embarking upon his legal career, he owned a private investigation agency in Lowell, Massachusetts that provided investigative services to law firms and national insurance companies. After relocating to Florida, Mr. Sullivan joined Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley PA in 1999 as a paralegal/investigator who assisted in preparing catastrophic personal injury cases for trial.
Now an attorney with the firm, Mr. Sullivan works with attorney Karen E. Terry in the areas of catastrophic personal injury involving wrongful death, medical malpractice, and motor vehicle and trucking accidents; and with cases involving premises, professional, and products liability.
Mr. Sullivan is admitted by examination to the practice of law in Florida, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. He is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida; to the United States District Courts for the Districts of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine; and to the United States Court of Appeals for the First and Eleventh Circuits. Among his professional affiliations are memberships in the American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, the Florida Justice Association, and the Palm Beach County Bar Association.
Raised in Lowell, Massachusetts, Mr. Sullivan earned his undergraduate degree in English and history from Salem State College.
