CAMERON M. KENNEDY joined Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley PA in 2011. Mr. Kennedy handles cases in the areas of personal injury, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and commercial litigation cases resulting from defective and unsafe products, commercial vehicle negligence, automobile accidents, insurance bad faith, and medical malpractice. He was recognized by Florida Super Lawyers in 2011, and again in 2012 as a “Rising Star” in the area of personal injury law.

Mr. Kennedy is an EAGLE member of the Florida Justice Association and serves on the FJA Board of Directors. In 2010, he was honored with the FJA’s Shoe Leather Award. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2006 and is admitted to practice before the Florida Supreme Court; the First District Court of Appeals; and the United States District Court, Northern District of Florida.

Mr. Kennedy is a member of the American Association for Justice, the American Bar Association, the American Inns of Court, the Florida Bar Association, and the Tallahassee Bar Association. He was one of the youngest trial lawyers to be awarded membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum – The Top Trial Lawyers in America.

A third generation Tallahassee native and a fourth generation Floridian, Mr. Kennedy earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from The Florida State University. While attending law school, he had the distinction of serving as president of The Florida State University College of Law Mock Trial Program. Since graduation, he has remained active as an advisor and volunteer with the law school. Mr. Kennedy also volunteers with North Florida Legal Services, the Guardian Ad Litem Program, and Habitat for Humanity.
