History
Since 1979, victims have turned to Searcy Denney for legal advice.
For the last 30 years, we have represented thousands of clients who have sought justice on behalf of themselves or their loved ones. That’s because, whether suffering an injury due to negligence, a financial loss due to deceit, or the emotional and physical trauma of abuse of power, our clients can count on the firm’s wholehearted effort.
Litigation teams are led by attorneys with wide-ranging courtroom experience, backed by a staff of professionals with hands-on experience in insurance, law enforcement, investigation, and nursing. We have ready access to highly knowledgeable outside experts and state-of-the-art technology to support your case, when appropriate.
Here are just some of the things we have learned:
- Little things make a difference. Once you have told us the facts of your case, we begin to investigate and gather evidence. We leave no stone unturned. In many instances, our clients have prevailed because of evidence that less meticulous investigation might have overlooked.
- Communication is a two-way street. We listen carefully to what you have to say, and no question is dismissed as trivial. Our attorneys make themselves available whenever necessary. We keep you informed, and respect your judgment in making decisions. In return, we trust you to give us all of the information relevant to your case, and to ask questions as they arise.
- It takes a team to get the best result. Most cases have more than one attorney assigned, in addition to a trained investigator. At trial, we may add to your team nationally-recognized experts in medicine, law enforcement, engineering, business, economics, and the like. We can build the team you need to deliver your message – the message of justice - to opposing attorneys, the judge, and the jurors.
We represent clients in more than 30 states, including Florida.
Although we practice primarily in Florida, the firm’s principals have helped clients in more than 30 states, often with local co-counsel. As our practice and reputation expanded, we added to our West Palm Beach office a second office in Tallahassee. This has added to our clients’ convenience, and to our ability to handle statewide and national cases.
Our goal for the next 30 years is to honor our history by continuing to apply our passion for justice to the practice of justice.
